The announcement was made public by Francisco González Buendía, Director of Planning of Asturias Principality, and is part of the proceedings to develop the Special Spatial Plan of Asturias, which will permit to expand the productive land from 672 hectares at present to 972, for both residential and industrial lands in the councils of Oviedo, Siero, Noren and Llanera, and is expected to be approved this year.

TECNIA INGENIEROS will carry out the previous study of the redevelopment of the Technology Park of 60,000 square meters, located in the northeast of the current park. The work was commissioned by the IDEPA (Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias.
