Description:

Project defines the design of a building intended for a child school from 0 to 3 years old, as well as urbanization of the plot and access road.

Work program of the school forecasts the requirement of 8 classrooms distributed according to ages in the following way:

• 2 rooms for babies between 0-1 years old
• 3 rooms for children between 1-2 years old
• 3 rooms for children between 2-3 years old

Same way, building will be provided with all the required facilities for the correct daily operation of the centre, such as:

• Stroller cubbyhole
• Management offices
• Multipurpose room and canteen
• Kitchen
• Pantry and storage area
• Changing rooms and toilets

Kitchen room will have full equipment since it will be used to prepare daily breakfast, lunch and evening meals.

Building will be also provided with common use areas, distributed in the following way: three indoor playgrounds (one in the first floor and two in the ground floor) and open air playgrounds with sand, green area and paths.

Main access to the building is located on the east side of the ground floor, although there is another access to the first floor in the north façade. The difference of level between the access, the street and floors are resolved with ramps that allow the elimination of architectural barriers.
