Description:
The 1,200 meters road works include undergrounding road M-503 below the roundabout connecting M-503 with M-508. For this reason two screens made of reinforced concrete piles of diameter 1,000 mm and 800 mm are projected.
Therefore, two traffic levels are constructed: Underground road is the one with higher traffic level while roundabout and access branches are the ones with local traffic levels.
This way, traffic along M-503 is not interrupted as a result of the internal movements between Pozuelo de Alarcon, Aravaca and Humera.
The road surface construction includes the execution of onsite stabilized ground for the esplanade, cement ground, and bituminous mixes.
Works include diversion of various current services: telephone lines (Telefónica), the network of water supply (Isabel II stream), Gas (Natural Gas), Telecommunications (ONO and Correos). Likewise, rain drainage and sewage is replaced in the area. Theses diversions works involved the construction of jacking pipes and a 40 meter gallery tunnel beneath the road.
Finally, paths, parking, sidewalks and bicycle lanes are constructed as part of the final urbanization of the area.
