Description:

Present Project comprises the construction of a public building intended to receive the exhibition centre “Navia basin Historic Park”. Same way, project completes current cultural offer consisting in “Ethnographic Museum” and “Prince Felipe Municipal Arts Centre”

Projected building is located in a plot adjacent to the old cans factory “La Arenesca”, which was built at the beginning of the XX century and currently houses the “Ethnographic Museum”. Proposed building has been designed with a ground floor, first floor and terrace-attic scheme. Different levels communicate by a ramp with 8% max of slope which complies with current regulations for physical handicapped person. Base plant of the building has a longitudinal shape with entrance and exit at the same point, in order to be able to control the visitors’ number.
