Description:

The construction works for the junction of motorways A-64 and AS-I will turn Siero Municipality into the main communication traffic node of Asturias. Connection between both motorways consists on the three crossroads already existing, but to be improved (Pola de Siero, El Berrón y Ferrera), along with a new junction in Mudarri which connects Mining and Cantabrico motorways.

Mudarri junction, which is essential for traffic distribution in the centre of the region, involves a displacement to the west of El Berron access as well as a new access roundabout in Noreña. Furthermore, the new road layout includes 22 new kilometres and demolition of 9 kilometres.
