Description:

The Project defines the necessary Works for the reinforcement of the current water supply to Grandas de Salime. Works involve the construction of two new water catchments in Berxuste and Navalón Streams, a new 11 km pipe conduction from the aforementioned catchments to a water treatment plant in Silvallana, required works for the water plant commissioning, a 1,500 m³ capacity new regulation deposit for the urban area and surroundings of Grandas de Salime, and the regulation and connection of vicinity villages to the water network.

The average volume for the horizon year is estimated to be 15.34 l/s and the peak value to 33.97 l/s.

Furthermore, the construction of two 20 m³ water deposits in Silvana and Monteserín Grande, three 40 m³ water deposits in Gestoselo, Valdedo y Peñafuente, one 46 m³ water deposit in Folgosa, and a 120 m³ water deposit in Castro are planned.
