Description:

This project was conducted in five phases due to its considerable importance:

1) Sealing of the current dump site: The aim is to define works required to seal a dump site of 270,000 m².  

2) Expansion, Phase I: The aim is to define works required for the adaptation of the end of Zoreda´s valley for its use as waste dump site. The volume expanded in Phase I is of 2,086,704 m³ with a total area of 214,768.66 m².

3) Composting plant: The project details the necessary works for the construction of the vegetal waste treatment plant as well as 3 industrial warehouses for the fermentation and storage.

4) Expansion, Phase II: The aim is to define works required for the construction of the dumpsite structure during the second phase of the expansion, with a total surface of 153,648 m².

5) Sealing of the industrial waste dump site: In this project, the aim is to achieve the closure of municipal solid waste dumpsite, which reached a total height of 54 m, and the closure of the lower part of the discharge of industrial waste.
