Description:

With a total surface of approximately 1.630 m², project has been designed over the unique building volume already existing, which is L–base shaped with three floors high in the front façade and two floors in the back façade due to the difference of ground levels.

Building exists for 40 years-old, originally housing a Health Centre, and therefore shows features typical from the time in which it was designed, both aesthetics and functional.

Exterior reform has been carried out making use of the existing free spaces whenever possible and adjusting the available dimensions to the new design when required, specially as a result of the new interior lay out.

Ground floor access area has been especially redesign, including a new independent access to the Peace Court and relocating emergency exits. 

A new external façade for the whole building is also proposed in order to obtain a modern and more appropriate look.

Interior reform will involve a demolition of the current partitions, and of the finishes and facilities which have no place in the project. The necessary openings in floors and walls will be carried out, giving place to the distribution detailed in the project and designed under current regulations.
